Fitness Inclusion Games reshapes sport participation

The Irish Wheelchair Association has launched Ireland’s first Fitness Inclusion Games, adapting CrossFit and Hyrox-style workouts for over 120 people with disabilities. Hosted at Sport Ireland’s National Indoor Arena, the Games build on IWA’s roots in Paralympic sport and expand its Fitness Inclusion Project, which helps members develop strength, confidence, and mental wellbeing. For c-suite leaders in associations, it’s a compelling model of how targeted, inclusive initiatives can engage overlooked communities, unlock new partnerships, and strengthen organisational impact.
