The Hellenic Business Association of Albania (HBAA) completed its regular General Assembly, electing a new Board of Directors for the three-year term running through 2028.
The elections recorded a participation rate of over 98%, reflecting strong engagement from member companies.
During the Assembly, members approved the three-year activity report covering 2022–2025, highlighting an increase in membership from 26 to 43 companies across 18 economic sectors, expanded institutional representation, enhanced international cooperation, over 50 business and networking events with around 2,400 participants, and improved services for members.
Mr. Denald George Tafani of PPC Albania (PPC Group) was re-elected as President for a second consecutive term. The new Board includes Vice President Mr. Ilias Katsouris of DSA "Digital System for Archiving," General Secretary Mr. Alexandros Kosenas of Neptun (Balfin Group), Treasurer Mr. Georgios Batsakis of Alumil Albania, Board Members Ms. Evgjenia Kashuta of Titan Cement Group and Ms. Maria Delijorgji of Perparimi, and Alternate Board Member Mrs. Angelos Kostopoulos of Strati & Kostopoulos Law Firm.
The HBAA now represents companies employing more than 8,000 people, with a combined annual turnover approaching €1 billion, equivalent to roughly 3.3% of Albania’s GDP.
With more than 20 years of presence, HBAA continues as the only institutionally recognised body representing Greek business interests in Albania and serves as a key bridge between the Greek and Albanian business communities, focusing on investment promotion, institutional dialogue, and sustainable business growth.
