The Road Haulage Association (RHA) has named Brian Beattie as its new manager of Northern Ireland Affairs, effective March 2026.

The appointment will expand the association’s regional engagement, providing strategic support to members, industry partners, local stakeholders, and decision-makers across Northern Ireland.

Beattie brings more than 25 years of senior operational experience in the transport and logistics sector, most recently serving as director of operations at McCulla (Ireland), where he oversaw significant growth and management of the company. His experience positions him to guide RHA members through operational and regulatory challenges while fostering collaboration within the sector.

Richard Smith, Managing Director of RHA, highlighted Beattie’s deep knowledge of the Northern Ireland business landscape and his strong reputation in the transport community. Smith emphasised that Beattie’s expertise will strengthen the support provided to members and reinforce the association’s role as a key industry advocate.
